How do I setup tracker and my public profile preferences?
Use Settings to easily configure your preferences for using Binfy trackers, charts, calculators, and more! You can also setup a public profile, viewable if you choose to post to public areas on Binfy such as the tracker chartroom.
After login, the Settings link displays in the upper right of most pages.
On the Settings page, you'll find options for:
App Preferences - Use the fields here to set your preferences for using Binfy tools, including trackers and calculators.
For example, here you can set your weight and height unit (US/Metric), temperature unit (fahrenheit, celsius), your date and time, and more.
Refer to the notes/tips on the App Prefs page for details on specific settings.Profile Preferences - Decide what others see about you when they view your public profile.
Note that your profile is only visible if you post in public areas, such as the chartroom or non-anonymously in the wishing well. Also keep in mind that whenever you post to public areas of Binfy, your posts and public profile can be viewed not only by other website visitors but also by search engines, which can immediately index the information.
As noted on the Profile Prefs page, for complete privacy when your profile is viewed, set all Show options to No. When you sign up, all options on Profile Prefs are set to No, which means all items on your public profile are marked private.

You can also opt to upload a photo of yourself (or avatar) to use on postings.
