How do I change my email address?

To change your primary email address, use the Edit Link on the My Account screen, which appears to the right of your primary email address. The primary email address has a Y under the Primary column.

When you click the Edit Link, you'll go to a screen where you can add your new primary email address. When you save your new primary email, it will replace your current primary email address. However, the change will be pending, and an email confirmation will be sent to your new email address with a confirmation link that you need to click on to activate the new email address.

Email Confirmation not received? - If you did not receive the email with the confirmation link, you can use the resend option, which displays to the right of your primary email address.

When and Why Should I Update My Primary Email Address?

Your primary email address is initially used to activate your account. Thereafter, it's used on any email reminders you setup. And, it's used by forgot password, in the event that you forget your password and/or id.

So that you will continue to get any email reminders you've setup, and as a backup key to your account if you forget your login info, please keep your primary email up-to-date! If your email is going to change, for example you're using a daytime email and will be moving on, we recommend you change your email before the current address becomes inaccessible.

Another option is to add a secondary email onto your account. Then, if and when the primary email becomes inaccessible, you can make your secondary email your primary. To make your secondary email your primary, use My Account:

  • First, delete your secondary email.
  • Next, edit your primary email. Enter what was your secondary email (that you deleted in the step above) as your primary email address and click Save. A confirmation email will be sent to activate the primary email address.
